Whaler’s Wharf
On February 10, 1998, Whaler’s Wharf burned to the ground, nearly igniting the entire town. With only 10 weeks before the property’s nonconformities expired, Binder was hired to create a redevelopment plan. She swiftly led the project through permitting, playing an instrumental role in reconstructing the building and restoring a vital part of Provincetown’s commercial and cultural fabric. Her efforts helped 37 businesses resume operations.
